Tree Planting and Spring Cleaning Day Saturday April 26th, 2014
Tree planting at 9:00 am
Cardinal Creek’s annual tree planting will take place on Saturday April 26 at 9:00 am and we are looking for volunteers!
We need residents to volunteer for two areas identified by the City of Ottawa Forestry Services (the trail head behind Heatherstone Cr and near the Karst). The trees are seedlings and are provided by the City of Ottawa Forestry Services. Supervised children are welcome. Bring shovels, boots, gloves and dress for the weather as this takes place rain or shine. Our meeting point will be at the intersection of Watters Road and Everlasting Crescent at 8:45 am.
Spring Cleaning at 1:00pm
Unable to join us in the morning? Then come out in the afternoon for our annual Spring Cleaning at 1:00pm. This year, we will be concentrating our clean-up efforts at the following locations:
1. Intersection of Watters and Everlasting (near the Karst)
2. Trail from Gallica to Heatherstone.
Bring boots, gloves and dress for the weather as this takes place rain or shine. We will be providing the garbage bags.

Plantation d’arbres – 9h00
La plantation d’arbres annuel de Cardinal Creek aura lieu le samedi 26 avril à 9h00 et nous avons besoin de votre aide!
Nous recherchons des résidents pour couvrir deux sites identifiés par le département de Foresterie de la Ville d’Ottawa (près le sentier situé derrière Heatherstone et du Karst). Les arbres sont de petites tailles et sont fournis par la ville d’Ottawa. Les enfants supervisés par un adulte sont les bienvenus. Apportez vos pelles, vos bottes, vos gants et habillez-vous en fonction du climat car l’activité aura lieu peu importe la température. Notre point de rencontre sera à l’intersection de la rue Watters et Everlasting à 8h45.
Nettoyage de printemps – 13h00
Impossible de nous joindre le matin? Venez-donc nous aider avec le nettoyage du printemps à 13h00. Cette année, nous ciblons les endroits suivants pour le nettoyage:
1. Intersection de Watters et Everlasting (près du Karst).
2. Sentier entre Gallica et Heatherstone.
Apportez: bottes, gants et habillez-vous en fonction du climat, l’activité aura lieu peu importe la température. Nous allons fournir les sacs de déchets.
