Councilor Bob Monette along with the Cardinal Creek Community Association (CCCA) unveiled the Cardinal Creek Karst sign, during the second CCCA participation in the Carleton University Annual Geoheritage day event.

The cave of the Cardinal Creek Karst is 340 meters in length, and it is the 12th longest in Ontario. It has been recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources as an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI) in 2009.

This year, we had approximately 150 people visit the area and explore this unique geological feature.
