En faisant les recherches sur les familles qui sont les ascendants de ma m\u00e8re (Josephine Just), j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert des informations int\u00e9ressantes mais quelque peu inusit\u00e9es qui complique la tache de documentation. J\u2019ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter les informations des diff\u00e9rentes familles en me servant de la famille Lafreni\u00e8re, qui selon les recherches de S\u0153ur Mary Alphonsine Lafreni\u00e8re et dans le cas de notre anc\u00eatre Joseph Baron Lafreni\u00e8re serais le fils d\u2019Andr\u00e9 \u00c9thier et donc pas un vrai Lafreni\u00e8re de naissance.<\/p>\n

Notes pour Joseph Baron Lafreni\u00e8re:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joseph was only five years old when he arrived in Maskinong\u00e9 with his widowed mother and older brothers and sisters. He was the youngest of the family. All his life he lived in Maskinong\u00e9 as a farmer and when he was 23 years of age, he married Marie-Anne Lemire, on September 15, 1721 in Maskinong\u00e9. There were eight children of this union, two of them dying in infancy. Marie-Anne Lemire died in 1739. Then Joseph married a second time, the second wife being Marie-Madeleine Sicard. They were married on February 9, 1741 in Maskinong\u00e9. Joseph had another nine children of this union. It is from this second family that our next ancestor, of the Lafreniere family was born, Louis Baron Lafreniere, who was born in 1758. Joseph was a Second Lieutenant in the Miltia at Maskinong\u00e9. He was procurer et gaurdian for the Seigneuresse Rosalie Bruneau, in which name he granted land. He was still alive in 1765. Marie-Madeleine Sicard died in 1808. Both Joseph Baron Lafreniere and his two wives are buried in the cemetery in Maskinong\u00e9 awaiting a glorious resurrection on the last day.\u00a0<\/span>1<\/span><\/p>\n

MARIE-ANNE LEMIRE: Died in 1739. She is the dauther of Jean Francois Lemire who was born in July 2, 1675 in Petite-Riviere-St-Charles and of Francoise Fourcault. Jean Francois Lemire is the son of Jean Lemire et Louise Marsolet. Francoise Fourcault is the dauther of Jean Francois Fourcault and Elisabeth Prevost. Marie-Anne Lemire Married Joseph Baron Lafreniere on September 15, 1721.\u00a0<\/span>2<\/span><\/p>\n
