SongBook<\/h3>\n

Pour limiter le nombre de cartable de musique que nous utilisons, le group d’amis musicien (Pierre Gibeau, Raymond Boisvert, Claude Audet et moi), avons d\u00e9cider d’utiliser le logiciel SongBook pour num\u00e9riser les plus de 600 chansons (en 2015) que nous avions dans nos cartables. Aujourd’hui le logiciel est utiliser par plus d’une cinquante de musiciens avec un r\u00e9pertoire de plus de 1900 chansons et grandisant.<\/p>\n

Le logiciel SongBook utilise la norme ChordPro pour la num\u00e9risation des paroles et accords et nous permet d’utiliser une tablette pour la pr\u00e9sentation des chansons. Pour plus d’information consulter le\u00a0<\/span>site de SongBook<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

This page is in both French and English as it is meant to be used by our friend musiciens French or English, Canadian or Americain.<\/p>\n

SongBook<\/h3>\n

To limit the number of binders we used to carry back and forth to Florida, the then group of musiciens (Pierre Gibeau, Raymond Boisvert, Claude Audet and I), had decided to use the SongBook Application to digitize our more than 600 songs (in 2015). Today more than fifty musiciens are using this application with a song list that has over 1900 songs and growing.<\/p>\n

The SongBook Application uses the ChordPro standard to digitize the lyrics and chords of songs which you can display on a tablet. For more information visit the\u00a0<\/span>SongBook website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Le premier groupe de musique ou j’ai jou\u00e9 de la basse \u00e9tait Les Taxpayers. Un groupe qui c’est form\u00e9 au travail en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 une\u00a0 campagne de fonds \u00e0 la Cours Cannadienne de l’Imp\u00f4t. Le premier concert fut un succ\u00e8s ou nous avons accumuler $500 en 45 minutes de concert. Les employ\u00e9es de la cour ayant apprecier la prestation nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 encourag\u00e9 \u00e0 faire des prestations au autre \u00e9v\u00e8nements de la cour ce qui a dur\u00e9 trois ans.<\/p>\n

Les membres \u00e9tait Joanne Lefebvre (la chanteuse), Jean-Pierre Harvey (au clavier), Laurent Francoeur (\u00e0 la batterie), Alexandre Cormier (\u00e0 la guitar), et moi m\u00eame Fernand Cormier (\u00e0 la basse).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The first band where I played bass was The Taxpayers, a band that was formed for a fundraising activity at the Tax Court of Canada. The first concert given in the the main court room at lunch time was very successful in raising $500 for the 45 minutes concert. The employees having enjoyed the concert we where asked to entertained at many of the Court events for a period of three years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The members of the band\u00a0 included Joanne lefebvre (the singer), Jean-Pierre Harvey (on keyboards), Laurent Francoeur ( on drums), Alexandre Cormier (on guitar), and myself Fernand Cormier (on bass).<\/p>\n

Le premier groupe dans lequel j’ai jou\u00e9 en Floride en 2012 est le groupe A+. Le groupe c’est form\u00e9 de plusieurs des participants des session mensuel\u00a0 de Jam. Le groupe, compos\u00e9 de musiciens amateurs Canadien et d’Am\u00e9ricain qui avait un int\u00e9rest pour la musique de dance, country et rock and roll fran\u00e7aise et anglaise. Le groupe pratiquait deux fois par semaine et donnait des concerts p\u00e9riodiques pour la plus grande joie des r\u00e9sidents du parc Road Runner Resort.<\/p>\n

The first band I joined in Florida in 2012 was the A+ Band. The group was formed from musiciens from the weekly JAM sessions The band composed of Canadians and Americans amateur musiciens who want to play dance, country and rock & roll music both in French and English. The band practiced twice a week and gave periodic dance concerts at the greatest enjoyment of the Road Runner Resort residents.<\/p>\n

The members of the A+ band included : Raymond Boisvert, Pierre Gibeau, Yvan Deschesnes, Steve Trinkle, Joe Avila, Ron Beatty, Lawrence Pelletier, Claude Audet, Roger Gagnon, Monique Leclerc, Claudett Fournier, Michel Lemay, Arthur Morency and myself Fernand Cormier.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

En 2016, suite \u00e0 la dispersion de quelques un des membres dans d’autres sites, un groupe ce reconstitue et ce renomme le groupe “RRRB” qui veut dire “Retired Rock and Roll Band”.<\/p>\n

En 2018 avec le d\u00e9pars et la venue\u00a0 de nouveau membres la version 2 du RRRB est form\u00e9. des\u00a0 membres courant sont Michel Goulet, Serge Cot\u00e9, Claude Turbide, Donna O’Neil, Roger L\u00e9gar\u00e9 et moi m\u00eame Fernand Cormier.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following de departure of some band members in 2016\u00a0 a new band was formed named to “RRRB” standing for Retired Rock and Roll Band. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2018 following yet changes in band members\u00a0 The current band members are Michel Goulet, Serge Cot\u00e9, Steve Trinkle, Donna O’Neil, Roger L\u00e9gar\u00e9 and myself Fernand Cormier.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
