Have you ever wanted to try curling but have never had an opportunity? Well, now’s your chance. The Cumberland Curling Club will host a free curling clinic and open house for first-time curlers on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10 a.m.

Participants will be given a brief “Curling 101” crash-course on the basics of the game, including rules, etiquette, and strategy. They will then head out onto the ice and have an opportunity to throw some rocks and take part in a match.

Space is limited so interested persons must register by sending an email to cccurling.membership@gmail.com or calling the club’s Membership Director, George Mota, at (613) 834-2740.
