PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITY FOR ARTISTS
Trim Road Realignment
The City of Ottawa’s Public Art Program invites artists to submit proposals to develop, design, and implement a public art commission for the Trim Road Realignment project.
The complete call to artists (including eligibility, design requirements, site locations, supporting documents, and selection criteria, etc.) is available on the City of Ottawa’s website: ottawa.ca/arts.
The total budget for this commission is $150,000 plus HST. The commission budget must include all costs required to design, fabricate and install the project.
Submissions must be received by mail or by hand no later than Monday August 26, 2013, 4:00 p.m.
An information meeting will be held at 172 Guigues Avenue, Routhier Community Centre in the first floor Lounge on Tuesday August 6 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. to provide potential applicants with the particulars of the site and the project. Members of the project design team will be in attendance to present design drawings and respond to inquiries.

APPEL AUX ARTISTES POUR UN PROJET D’ART PUBLIC
Nouveau tracé du chemin Trim
Dans le cadre de son Programme d’art public, la Ville d’Ottawa invite les artistes à présenter leurs propositions pour l’élaboration, la conception et l’installation d’une œuvre d’art public commandée, qui sera intégrée au nouveau tracé du chemin Trim.
L’appel aux artistes intégral, notamment admissibilité, exigences pour la conception du projet d’art public, site, critères de sélection, est sur le site Web de la Ville à ottawa.ca/lesarts.
150 000 $, TVH en sus. Le budget du projet doit inclure tous les coûts exigés pour la conception, la fabrication et l’installation du projet.
Les soumissions doivent être reçues par la poste ou en mains propres au plus tard le lundi 26 août 2013, 16 h.
Une séance d’information aura lieu au Centre communautaire Routhier situé au 172, avenue Guigues, au salon du premier étage, le mardi 6 août de 15 h 30 à 16 h 30, où seront fournis aux éventuels candidats les détails liés aux lieux et au projet. Des membres de l’équipe de conception du projet seront sur place pour présenter les dessins architecturaux et pour répondre aux questions.
